SIMPLE TIPS FOR STREAMLINING YOUR POST- PHOTOSHOOT WORKFLOW

Integrating simple methods into your workflow after a shoot can enhance your post-processing experience, making you more efficient and improving your work quality. This can also lead to stronger client relationships. It's recommended to promptly backup, cull, edit, and deliver your images immediately after a photoshoot.

Here I share some tips for streamlining your post-photoshoot Workflow:

  • BACKUP: Backing up immediately after a shoot is crucial to prevent data loss, recover from accidental deletion, secure your images, streamline workflow, and meet client expectations.

  • CULLING: Culling means going through all the photos taken during a shoot and picking out the best ones. This helps photographers choose the top-quality images for editing and delivering to the client.

  • EDITING: Getting into a habit of editing right after a shoot helps you remember details, fix problems early, making clients happy with quick delivery.

  • DELIVERABLES: The photographer provides the deliverables to the client after completing a photoshoot. Deliverables usually include edited digital images, but can also be physical prints or albums, based on the agreement between the photographer and the client.

Using the above simple tips can boost your efficiency, leading to better client relationships. Remember to backup, select, edit, and deliver your images promptly after each shoot.

As always, best of luck!
